. JOB SUMMARY
Business Development Manager- Restaurants & Catering key main responsibility is to manage the total sales & marketing efforts all alkhoory restaurant & Catering sales in order to generate pro-actively revenue. The basic guideline to do this is the Restaurant Marketing Plan as well as the Business Plan. He/she maintains, develops, and recognizes Key Accounts / prospects. He/she maintains on a regular basis the contacts to the local and international key accounts for catering or any event related business.
II. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop profitable growth for the F&B sector across all hotels
Executes the sector business plan and strategic projects.
Devise strategy marketing plans in liaison with marketing manager & senior leadership team, effective implementation with all stakeholders of the same and close monitoring of each and every marketing activity with F&B operations team would be the key responsibility of the role.
Assist our wider commercial team with ad-hoc strategic initiatives like field pitch days, restaurant marketing rollouts, and cross-functional projects.
Take control over your own pipeline and use your organizational skills to manage your portfolio of leads and ensure strong conversion rates.
Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
Generate new business leads for Al khoory Hotels Restaurants & Catering Department
Carry out sales forecasts and analysis and present your findings to senior management; develop the business sales and marketing strategy.
Work within budgeted guidelines in relation to Food and Payroll.
Drive Restaurant & catering sales within Al khoory Hotels to maximize budgeted revenue.
Develop menus with other members of the Food and Beverage team.
Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement.
Able to meet financial targets.
Ability to work under pressure.
Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
Ability to locate new clients through word of mouth, cold calling business groups.
Build and develop strategy to meet and exceed sales revenue objectives.
Organize daily and weekly plans to meet with new and existing clients to solicit restaurant business using techniques & tactics agreed upon by the Al Khoory Hotels leadership team.
Effective cross functional collaboration with F&B Operations & Productions team ensure smooth execution of Sales program and clear ownership over each part of the process.
Be aware, and strive to keep ahead of, industry trends (you should set the trends rather than follow).
Perform other duties and responsibilities as and when required or delegated
