IT TELECOM DATACENTER PROJECTS REQUIRED IN DUBAI - Dubai

To provide an IT Telecom & Datacenter Projects management Service to an Oilfield project in accordance with the standing procedures.

Work location:
BOC, Basra, Iraq.

Work time:
28 Days work + 28 Days vacation
All cost covered included food and accommodation

Duties and responsibilities:

• Plan, execute, monitor, control, and close all aspects of the project lifecycle.
• Ensure that planning and execution of all aspect of the project delivery are conducted in strict compliance to Majnoon standards and requirements.
• Proficiency in Project and quality management. Has gained experience of achieving results through effective team leadership and through the planning, control and execution of projects, including demonstrable success in managing multiple projects.
• comprehensive knowledge of relevant development life-cycles, and the operating environments. in-depth knowledge of risk management. Understands the interdependencies of business processes and information systems.
• Understands and applies the theory and practice of change management. Knows and uses various change methodologies appropriately at the individual, team and organizational level.
• understanding of the costs of IT (project and lifecycle) and the ability to identify cost levers which the project steering committee can pull to drive down the operations costs.
• Rigorously manage scope through a structured change management process to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters with focus on delivering the business benefits.
• Create and validate financial forecasts and provide ongoing reconciliation of resources and expenditures.
• Proactively analyze risks and variances against plan to assess trends threatening agreed scope, time, cost, and quality commitments. Identify signs that a project may be at risk and escalate quickly and appropriately.
• Ensure appropriate stakeholder change and communication plans and engagements are developed and executed.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define success metrics and criteria and to identify, measure, and track planned vs. achieved benefits.
• Apply standard project management and IT control/assurance methodologies, standards and processes (such as PMI ,agile) including architecture, information risk management, and transition to support.

Qualification & Training requirements:

• BSc. Degree in Engineering, computer, communication, electrical
• PMI certification
• Knowledge in agile methodologies
• HSSE: Accountable for safe and successful execution of activities defined as HSE critical, identification and management of project HSE risks and the development of an enhanced HSE culture, particularly by steering and influencing the local 3rd party contractors, Shell suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure safe delivery of the project activities.
•Stakeholder Management: Identify and manage all project stakeholders including steering committee. Ensure timely and qualitative communications of project status and escalations to the project stakeholders. The role involves interacting with and influencing BGC management and senior managers (including Technical Director, Asset Services Director, Finance Director, HR Director, C&P Director, Plant Directors, etc) on project related matters on a regular basis, including monthly project steering committee meetings
• Relationship Management:
• Drives a One Team mindset;
• Works closely with site stakeholders to understand and influence how IT and the business can align strategic success goals, challenging the business to deliver value for IT dollars invested.
• Manages relationship with the Manufacturing site leadership team and other key site stakeholders. Together with Site BA maintains relationships with all levels at the site, from operators to site leadership, including business IT levels.
• Business Intelligence:
• Has deep understanding of the Business and Industry landscape, including strategic priorities, challenges and how this relates to the wider enterprise strategy and competitive landscape.
• Delivers thought leadership and contributes to business decisions through strong relationships, business and IT understanding and external market perspectives.

Experience:

• 5 to 8 years of relevant job experience within the oil & gas industry.
• Good understanding of and demonstrable hands-on experience in all functional aspects of IT-Telecom including estimating, budgeting, forecasting, commitment control, change control, variations, contract management.
