Technology Advisor Required in Dubai
Key responsibilities:
Strategically advise and lead on the development and execution of the emerging technologies strategy across DCT, including but not limited to; identifying business cases, defining visions, goals, and digital transformation solutions and offerings while ensuring alignment with DCT's overall digital transformation strategies & objectives.
Oversee and contribute to the design, development, and implementation of emerging technology solutions and other technology projects and initiatives, ensuring their successful integration into existing systems and processes.
Closely collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders and vendors to gather requirements, identify business needs, and propose innovative solutions leveraging emerging technologies (Generative A.I., Nature Inspired Computing, etc.).
Foster and nurture strong relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders to identify new business opportunities for technological advancements and expand DCT's capabilities in emerging technologies.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent. Master’s Degree is highly preferred.
15+ years of progressive experience in a large-scale organization around delivery emerging technology strategy, solutions, and initiatives across different technology domains. At least 8 years of experience in a senior/managerial role.
In-depth and extensive knowledge and expertise in Emerging Technology industry. The role holder will draw on their expertise and knowledge of the industry in providing strategic direction and advice, relevant to the scope of this role. Ideally, the role holder would have held a similar advisory role. Proven track record of achievements and experience in areas, such as; strategy development and execution, strategic and technical projects management etc.
The role holder will be expected to effectively deal with external stakeholders and organizations at a leadership level and should have a proven track record of fostering business relationships and strategic partnerships.
Support the senior management and the wider organization in creating a vibrant, collaborative and innovative culture.
Skills and Attributes
Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of leading practices and emerging trends in strategy planning, development and implementation in addition to project management tools and programs.
Tech Savvy: Knowledge and direct hands-on experience using business intelligence, analytics, project management and other tools.
Business Analytics: define the required metrics and KPIs for success of projects and able to extract, analyze, assess and utilize the insights of the raw data and refined information into findings that continuously improve the business operations.
Creative and innovative: Able to think in an abstract manner to come up with new approaches for complex issues.
