Senior Financial Analyst Required in Dubai
The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and providing error-free accounting reports and presenting financial results. Ensuring smooth finance operations and excellence in reporting for management and annual audit.
Responsibilities
Timely analysis and reporting of financial performance at the Plant level, control of each line item of the P&L, insightful analysis-based MIS reporting to the Senior Finance Manager (SFM).
Assist in the preparation of IFRS financial statements.
Assist in financial forecasts for the business and track key variances, changes and opportunities in actual results versus forecast.
Monitor variances, perform detailed ‘actual v budget’ analysis, and do discrepancy follow-ups with business teams.
Regular Liaising with other functions for business-related requirements, corporate queries and management reports.
Assist SFM in finalising the annual budget and forecast process with strong coordination with all stakeholders.
Assist in the preparation of Board and Audit Committee deliverables.
Handle multiple assignments and responsibilities simultaneously to ensure the timely handling of data information and reporting.
Responsible for FP&A activities and insightful analysis of the business (including Topline, Margins, Overheads, and Capex).
Coordinate monthly book closing activities with the Finance Team, ensuring Provisions booking/reversals, correct booking of costs, Capex capitalization, and margin control.
Support in financial modelling and analysis, including ad-hoc modelling and analysis. Ensure value creation tracking in the feasibility studies. Develop post-mortem tracking of former investments.
Assist in drafting valuations and financial due diligence reports, financial model preparation, and model build assignments.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in financial planning, analysis, and modeling
Strong knowledge of Accounts Payable/Receivable functions
Working knowledge of financial strategies
