Senior Accountant Required in Dubai
1) Qualifications
Finance expert with at least 8-10 years financial experience with an accredited CPA certificate.
2) Project Role
Understand project requirements and assist the Finance Manager with financial reviews.
3) Business Development
Ability to develop relationships with Directors, Project Managers and Clients.
4) Company Role
Projects and Reports :
Assist in the delivery of an effective and efficient financial support service to organisation.
Assist in the production of financial information as appropriate.
Assist in the production of budget estimates for on- going management accounts forecasting
Assist in providing support and advice to budget holders in monitoring and forecasting income and expenditure.
Follow up on financial status of projects with managers.
Raise invoices for all projects including site and miscellaneous recharges.
Record debtors and reconcile with current system to manual debtors listing.
Record cash collection and communicate to project managers.
Assist with monthly management reporting and cash flow forecast.
Administrator Maconomy ERP system and control all external payments.
Assist in providing advice, assistance to budget holders on day to day financial management.
Responsible for calculating and allocating recharges.
To contribute to the production of business stream information for inclusion in corporate projections, reports and accounts.
Expenses:
Process expenses payments for staff
Calculate and process monthly salaries and final settlements including gratuity.
Prepare and reconcile on monthly basis the following:
salaries
staff loans
bank accounts
deposits
accruals
prepayments/advance payments
fixed asset depreciation
Process creditor payments through cheque and bank transfer.
Process utilities payment
Process guarantee bonds
Maintain files and records
To contribute to work aimed at the development and maintenance of financial accounting systems and procedures.
To liaise with other sections within the business in the interest of providing an efficient support service.
Collation and reviewing of timesheet input to establish fee invoicing on projects
5) HSEQ Responsibilities
Understand, implement and follow WME HSEQ policies.
Implement and coordinate HSEQ procedures in your workplace.
Comply with local regulatory authority guidelines and laws pertaining to HSEQ.
Report any HSEQ incidents immediately to WME HSEQ Dept. and to legal authorities if required.
