Junior Accountant Required in Dubai

Junior Accountant to provide support to the financial department by managing daily accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles and attention to detail. Efficient operation of the department, working to maintain order and meeting deadlines.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES

1. Performs general accounting functions, accounting records (expenses, payroll) and other related duties in the daily administration of the accounting department

2. Ability to prepare financial reports, bank reconciliation, and financial statements

3. Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines

4. Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately

5. Bookkeeping of day-to-day transactions by analyzing accounting options

6. Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings

7. Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple, consistently meeting deadlines with accurate & detailed results.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Economics

Experience: 2 - 3 years experience in finance or accounts in UAE

Professional Skills: English, knowledge of VAT filing regulations in the region

Computer Skills: Excellent knowledge of MS Office and experience with accounting software (e.g. SAP)

Preferably available to join immediately and currently located in Dubai, UAE
