Senior Accountant Required in Dubai
Senior Accountant who oversees a company’s accounting operations, will be responsible for budget management, business analysis, financial reporting, and costing analysis. Assist in the internal & external auditing procedures of the company. Responsible for working with third parties, banks or auditors.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
1. Should have optimal command of IFRS with solid knowledge of accounting, taxation, and financial reporting
2. Strong experience in budgeting & forecasting, familiar with UAE and GCC tax laws
3. Focus on tax compliance, state business registration, and non-profit tax filing
4. Staying up to date on changes in the accounting and tax regulations
5. Taking an active role in all relevant audits, both internal and external
6. Develop and maintain strategic stakeholder relationships
7. Implement the Finance function’s strategic goals, business plans, budgets, costing for projects and resources
8. Preparing monthly and annual accounts
9. Implementing new policies and procedures in the finance department
10. Outstanding skills and in accuracy, organization, and working in a high-volume environment
11. Full awareness and responsibility to develop and oversee the company’s financial products:
· Corporate bank account assistance
· VAT registration & filling
· Bookkeeping
· ESR submissions
· Go AML application
12. Performing other accounting duties and supporting junior staff
13. Communicates effectively, is open and assertive, with excellent command of written and spoken English
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Economics
+4 years experience in a Accounts & finance role. Must experience in an audit corporate in the UAE
Professional Skills: Finance Certified, Qualified (CA, CFA, CFP, ACMA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA)
Preferably available to join immediately and currently located in Dubai, UAE
