Junior Accountant Required in Dubai

To learn the NVOCC accounting matrix and be a part of the Finance department in the day-to-day accounting function. Ensure to record the transactions with accuracy and timeliness.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Accurately perform data entry tasks for Revenue and Cost
Prepare the Statement of Account (SOA)
Reconciliation of Vendors Statement of Account and prepare the payment vouchers
Handle sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
Learn how to work as part of the accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company and customers.
Take on additional tasks or projects to learn more about accounting and office operations.
Adapt and grow with the organisation to contribute to management goals.
Any ad-hoc assignments as assigned by reporting manager

Background and experience

A minimum of 1 year Internship/working exposure in a similar role, preferably within the Shipping industry
Experience working in a multicultural finance team
Experience working in a high business volume environment
