Senior Accountant Required in Dubai

The Senior Accountant should have solid knowledge of accounting, reporting, pays close attention to detail and can ensure first-class financial management and accounting across company entities.

Duties & Responsibilities

Overseeing see all aspects of the Group's accounting, accounts receivable/payable, lease accounting, fixed assets, tax, reporting and compliance, cash flow analysis, audits, and financial reporting and analysis
Supervising the accounting team, organizing workflow and assigning the duties, controlling and optimising the priorities.
Assisting in day-to-day accounting function, maintenance of a system of controls over accounting transactions. Producing timely and accurate financial statements within the timeline required
Developing and maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and controls in accordance with accounting principles, applicable regulations, and laws as well as best practice
Processing and posts journal entries for routine transactions and ensures accuracy of the General Ledger
Handling month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing procedures
Assisting with internal and external audits to ensure efficient reviews of financial data and controls
Handling accounting issues and conduct special projects as assigned
Providing financial support for commercial managers and clearly communicate responses to requests
Identifying opportunity for process optimisation and automation
Adding value to the assigned tasks

Requirements & Qualifications

English speaking
Russian language is a nice asset
5+ years' of experience in accounting & finance
Previous GCC experience on related positions
Strong leadership, mentorship time-management and organisational proficiency
Strong communication and analytical skills
