IT Compliance Specialist Required in Dubai - Dubai

We are seeking an IT Compliance Specialist for a 1 year Contract with possible extensions (Onsite) and to be based in Doha - Qatar.

Mission:

Participate in establishing and implementing ICT Governance, Risk, Compliance, and performance management frameworks and metrics to continuously improve ICT Department performance and ensure ICT deliver and demonstrate value to the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and enhance IT Service Management policies and procedures in collaboration with ICT stakeholders.
• Conduct audit risk assessments and collaborate on annual audit plans with internal audit and ICT teams.
• Design, execute, and improve IT Governance and IT Service Management practices and documentation.
• Possess expertise in formulating IT Governance objectives, utilizing frameworks like ITIL, COBIT, COSO, and CMMI.
• Implement IT Governance, Audit, Risk, and Compliance frameworks and understand internal and external auditing techniques.
• Utilize Enterprise Risk Management methodologies to identify, assess, and monitor risks and controls.
• Implement ICT process improvements using COBIT framework and leverage methodologies like six sigma.
• Stay informed on current IT industry trends, particularly in the Oil and Gas Sector.
• Operate with mature judgment, demonstrating commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
• Effectively engage in a multi-cultural and multi-national workforce.
• Exhibit excellent communication and presentation skills, collaborating with various management levels.
• Demonstrate analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Work independently, delivering consistent results in compliance with CMMI.
• Participate in ICT risk assessment activities, ensuring adherence to Corporate ERM framework and ICT Governance procedures.

Skills , Qualifications and experience required:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent education.
· A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in an enterprise IT environment, preferably in software and Apps development, with at least 5 years of demonstrated experience in IT Governance and IT Service Management.
· Deep knowledge of regulations and strict standards related to Information Technology.
· Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess policies and procedures based on defined standards.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to guide and educate others on compliance.
· The ability to work with multicultural teams and effectively engage with various departments and individuals.
· Familiarity with IT risk management tools and compliance software.
· Commitment to quality and continuous improvement in compliance application.
· Preferred Certifications: ITIL V4
· Expert Certified • ISO 2000 Lead Implementer / Auditor
· COBIT Design and Implementation
· ITIL 4 Managing Professional
· Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISACISA)
· Data analysis and relevant reporting skills.
