IT Director Required in Dubai - Dubai

Responsibilities:

1. IT Strategy and Leadership:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.

• Provide visionary leadership to the IT department, guiding it towards innovation and excellence.

2. Digital Transformation:

• Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance the organization's competitive advantage.

• Identify emerging technologies and trends relevant to the Dubai market and implement them strategically.

3. Infrastructure and Operations:

• Oversee the management and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.

• Implement best practices in IT operations and service management.

4. Cybersecurity and Compliance:

• Lead cybersecurity efforts to protect the organization's data and systems.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and data protection laws, such as GDPR or local Dubai regulations.

5. IT Budget Management:

• Develop and manage the IT budget, optimizing resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.

6. Vendor Management:

• Collaborate with IT vendors and service providers to ensure the delivery of quality services and products.

• Negotiate contracts and agreements to achieve cost savings and favorable terms.

7. Team Development:

• Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing IT team.

• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the department.

8. Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery:

• Develop and maintain business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure uninterrupted operations.

9. Stakeholder Communication:

• Communicate IT strategy and performance to the executive leadership team and other stakeholders.

• Ensure IT initiatives are aligned with business goals and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English, German is a plus

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant field.

• Minimum of 5 years experience in information technology and data management.

• In-depth knowledge of data administration and management processes.

• A highly analytical mindset with superb problem-solving skills.

• Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

• Good understanding of modern databases and information system technologies.

Package:

• Full time employment.

• Location: Dubai.

• Salary: annual up to 120.000 USD (paid in local AED) with no income tax, so its gross for net.
