Key Roles and responsibilities:
The ideal candidate for a Head of Sales/Business Development role will be self-motivated to bring in new clients and reach out to new businesses to form partnerships and help us grow in addition to forming strategies and being an effective leader.
The day to day responsibilities for the same would include:
- Managing and supporting the team with a mentorship approach
- Building new strategies and game plans for infiltrating the market more effectively
- Attracting new clients and servicing the current clients in our portfolio
- Preparing and delivering pitches to new clients
- Creating positive and long lasting relationships with potential clients
- Running outbound campaigns (emails, calls and other reach-outs) to create new opportunities
- Owning the sales lifecycle
- Maintaining client activities on the CRM
- Lead generation and effective communication
- Ability to generate revenue by identifying pain points and suggesting suitable services
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to lead and mentor the team from the front
- KPI setting and tracking for the team
- Training and developing the team
- Proven track record in sales and ability to acquire clients
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to persuade and negotiate with prospective clients
- Advanced presentation skills
- Excellent teamwork and leadership skills
- Advanced problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Effective time management and project management skills
- Excellent networking skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10-12 years of experience in sales
- Experience managing a team for 5 years
- Strong market knowledge of the region/vertical
- Degree/Diploma in Sales/Business Management or related field
- Strategic leadership abilities
- Ability to work autonomously
