Credit Risk Manager Required in Dubai

Emirates Development Bank is looking for Corporate Credit Risk Manager - UAEN to join our team. The Credit Risk Manager will be responsible for the study and recommendation of SME credit proposals submitted by the business team, checking the adequacy of the studied files. In addition, the Credit Risk Manager will ensure independent and objective identification, assessment, measurement, monitoring of the Corporate Credit Risk portfolio.

Major Responsibilities:

· Study the Credit Proposals submitted by the business unit to ensure their compliance with the regulatory authority and the bank policies. These approvals should stipulate terms and conditions to mitigate the credit risk borne/ faced by the Bank.
· Prepare the Credit Risk recommendations highlighting the Risks and proposing mitigations. The credit risk memorandum should clearly detail the Credit Risk Unit opinion in the following: a) financial indicators including financial statement analysis; b) client competitive position; c) collateral coverage ratios; c) capability of clients’ to repay.
· Assist the Head of Credit Risk and Review in the establishment and implementation of the credit policies, procedures and processes.
· Ensure compliance and implementation of recommendation by entities, information, and credit risks connected with EDB’s business activities and ensure proper governance in controlling and escalating the breaches if not complied in order to promote adherence to rules and regulations within EDB.
· Prepare a sanction letter to provide the Business unite and the loan operations unit with the details of credit approval for implementation.
· Prepare periodic and ad hoc statistics pertaining to declined and approved cases and the ratio thereof, of instances of missing documentation over a certain period, etc. in order to keep record of all information that will then be further submitted to the Credit Risk Manager for review
· Ensure that changes in policies and procedures arising from changes in products, regulations or systems are considered during the analysis and administration of credit facility proposals in order to maintain up-to-date policies and procedures within EDB.
· Maintain an understanding of all pertinent regulations as well as best practices pertaining to the overall credit operations in order to ensure adherence to regulations.
· Ensure high standards of confidentiality to safeguard commercially sensitive information.

Minimum required skills and qualification

· UAE Nationals with family book is Must
· +6 years of relevant work
· Bachelor’s Degree in Relevant Field Required
