We are looking for an FTA Approved VAT consultant cum Accountant who shall demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas:
• Preparation, validation and submission of monthly and quarterly VAT returns for the UAE entities
• Maintain controls by adhering to the accounting department’s policies and procedures and ensure Tax practices are in compliance with UAE financial reporting
• Providing accounting and clerical support to ensure that financial transactions are in compliance and of the VAT regulations.
• Working with tax laws in UAE and update the changes to the management.
• Compile, verify, and analyse financial information and prepare financial reports and accounting statements so that senior management has accurate and timely information for making financial decisions. These reports may include monthly VAT liabilities, VAT returns, regulatory reports and filings
• Delivery of accounting services to range of clients
• Willingness to undertake business development activities and an ability to identify opportunities
• Build and maintain strong networks internally and externally in order to grow the business of accounting and auditing
• Process various journal entries related to general accounting
• Strong technical understanding of accounting principles
• Finalization of annual Accounts
• Maintain precise accounts for the Clients including data entry
• Knowledge and experience in External audit & Internal Audit
• Prepare audit work plan
• Manage portfolio of accounting, VAT and audit clients
• Provide VAT computation and reconciliation for clients and submit quarterly VAT returns both onsite and offsite
• Create and document audit paperwork in accordance with standards and requirements for clients
• Builds relationships and communicates effectively in order to positively influence peers and other stakeholders
• Good communication and interpersonal skills-good judgment and reasoning skills.
Job Qualifications and Experience
• Should be Registered Tax Agent with Federal Tax Authority
• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, Business Administration, Finance or its equivalent
• At least one year of accounting and audit experience (home country experience shall be considered)
• Good communication and technical skills required
• Outstanding analytical, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
• Expertise in Ms Office, Tally, Quick Books including knowledge of the accounting software’s
• Good report writing skills
