Melodica is a well-established music school offering high quality music education in the UAE. We are currently seeking a talented and passionate Violin & Piano Teacher to join our team. As a Music Teacher at Melodica, you will have the opportunity to share your knowledge and skills, and help students achieve their goals in music. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in music theory and performance, as well as experience in teaching both violin and piano.
Responsibilities
Plan, prepare and deliver lessons to a wide range of students with varying abilities
Create individualized learning plans based on the needs and goals of each student
Develop a comprehensive understanding of music theory, notation, and performance techniques for both violin and piano
Assess and evaluate each student's progress and provide feedback and guidance on how to improve
Encourage and motivate students to develop a love for music and to strive for excellence in their skills
Participate in studio events, recitals, and performances with the aim of showcasing student talent and building a community of musicians
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of contemporary, traditional, and classical music styles, and be able to integrate these styles into the curriculum
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience teaching both violin and piano
Bachelor’s degree in music education or a related field
Strong knowledge of music theory, notation, and performance techniques for both instruments
Ability to teach students of all ages and backgrounds, from beginner to advanced levels
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with students and parents/guardians
A passion for teaching and inspiring students to achieve their full potential in music
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while also being able to work independently.
