Job Title: Veterinary Nurse Years of Experience: 2 years Company Name: Qureos Employment Type: Full-time Reporting Location: Dubai, UAE Salary Range: 3000 to 5000 AED Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Veterinary Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in handling and restraining animals, administering treatments, performing diagnostic tests, and educating pet owners on animal health. The candidate should also have excellent communication skills and be able to work to the professional code of conduct. Responsibilities:

Handle and restrain animals
Administer treatments including injections, tablets, drips, and blood transfusions
Perform diagnostic tests, e.g. blood sampling, urine analysis, and x-rays
Prepare animals for surgery and perform some minor procedures, e.g. suturing wounds and dental hygiene
Monitor anesthesia
Educate pet owners on animal health, including vaccinations, worming, flea prevention, and appropriate nutrition
Work to the professional code of conduct Skill Requirements:
Experience in handling and restraining animals
Knowledge of nursing care for hospitalized patients
Ability to administer treatments including injections, tablets, drips, and blood transfusions
Ability to perform diagnostic tests, e.g. blood sampling, urine analysis, and x-rays
Knowledge of preparing animals for surgery and performing some minor procedures, e.g. suturing wounds and dental hygiene
Ability to monitor anesthesia
Excellent communication skills
Ability to educate pet owners on animal health, including vaccinations, worming, flea prevention, and appropriate nutrition
Ability to work to the professional code of conduct
