Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Assisting veterinarians during consultations, surgeries, and procedures.
Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
Preparing and maintaining medical equipment and supplies.
Performing diagnostic tests, including blood work, radiography, and laboratory analysis.
Monitoring and recording vital signs of patients.
Providing post-operative care and monitoring of hospitalized animals.
Educating pet owners on proper animal care, medications, and home care after procedures.
Maintaining accurate medical records.
Assisting with the reception and front-desk duties as needed.
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Certification or diploma in veterinary nursing or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a veterinary nurse in UAE is preferred.
Strong understanding of veterinary medical terminology and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate and empathetic approach to animal care.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and occasional holidays.
