URGENT SENIOR ACCOUNTANT REQUIRED IN DUBAI
ASTUDIO, a one-stop-shop production and an award winning digital creative agency, is looking to employ a full-time Senior Accountant. The role involves taking ownership of reporting costs, productivity, margins and expenditures. Your responsibilities include preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, preparing tax returns, assisting with audit preparations and performing other accounting duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports.
Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating and entering transactions.
Create a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual for accounting policy and regulations, and roll out reconciliation procedures.
Create and analyze liability, asset, and capital accounts by compiling electronic data and required documentation
Training and mentoring junior staff
Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Secures financial information by completing data base backups.
Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
Manage daily office administration and accounting.
Requirements:
Preferable female
Proven work experience as a Certified Public Accountant or Senior Accountant
Min 5-7 years of accounting experience
Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
BSc degree in Accounting or Finance and a CPA certification
XERO proficiency
Available to join immediately
Previous experience in production house/ digital agency/ start up is preferred
Highly detail-oriented and organized
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
Attention to details
Ability to multitasking and deadlines-oriented
