Urgent Accountant Required in Dubai
The ideal candidate will be involved with ensure all transactions are timely and accurately captured and recorded in the ERP system and perform routine reconciliations. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.
Responsibilities
Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
Ensure all supporting for accounting transactions are organized and maintained
Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, supplier ledger, customer ledger and general ledger
Bring the books to the trial balance stage
Reconcile all balances in the TB where required
Process accounts receivable/payable and handle payroll in a timely manner
Dealing with Vendors and aging reports to manage cash flow
Ensure collections are properly recorded and reconcile against sales invoices
Maintain Fix asset register of the operations and maintain Depreciation schedules in ERP
Actively Involve in the Annual Auditing process
Compile information needed for Monthly management reporting
Check accuracy of Inventory valuation and coordinate periodic stock counts
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
Qualification from a Professional accounting accounting body (ACCA/CPA/CA)
A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accountant / Book-keeping role
Hands on experience with ERP system(s) and MS Excel skills
Familiarity of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (IFRS / GAAP)
Knowledge of regional tax and transfer pricing rules
Other
Well organized, structured and able to work independently
Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude
Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment
Fluent English; Arabic and other languages a plus
