Urgent Accountant Required in Dubai
Responsibilities
Monthly management reports preparation including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flows.
Assist in financial statement consolidation - Budget & LSC.
Preparation of MIS reports required by the Management Team.
Review monthly service closing / invoicing (sale transactions, job cards, customers LPOs).
Review and analysis of financial records and insurance policy.
Supervise month-end book closure activity and schedules.
Supervise year-end book closure activity, preparation of audit Schedules, trial balance review, and coordination with an auditor.
Review suppliers’ invoices for appropriate documentation and take necessary approvals and process payment.
Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports.
Monitor the recording and payment of recurring expenses like Dewa, Sewa, etc.
Handle Insurance accounts (debtors, creditors, and insurance premiums).
Handle fixed assets, and register.
Handle VAT returns filling, and coordinate with a tax consultant.
Preparation of daily-wise cash flow projection and weekly actual cash flow.
Support in preparation and update of the business plan when required.
Review petty cash reconciliations.
Review inventory stock is taken and report inventory reconciliations.
Manage LSC account receivables and support collections and receivables reconciliations.
Supervise the accounting team.
Adhere to the requirements of Budget quality policies and comply with all policies and procedures.
Comply with IAS and IFRS requirements.
Comply with law and Tax requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience.
CPA OR CMA preferred.
