Urgent Accountant Required in Dubai

The ideal candidate will be involved with preparing financial reports and statements, bank reconciliations, and conducting cyclical audits. Moreover, the candidate must have strong interpersonal skills and possess a strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Perform bank reconciliation and recording the bank transactions
Recording the petty cash transaction and undertake petty cash reconciliation.
Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports for the finance manager to review.
Documents financial transactions by entering account information
Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Performs other assignments as required from time to time by the management.
Assist in year-end closing and audits
Preparation of all required tax returns for VAT and other regional taxes.
Preparation of export documentation.
Manage budgeting and forecasting

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
A minimum of 2 years’ UAE experience in finance and accounting.
Prior experience with VAT
Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical skills
Technical expertise in accounting Tally Software. Microsoft GP is a plus
