Urgent Accountant Required in Dubai

We are looking for a competent Account to join our new office. You will be the one to organize and oversee the accounting department functions with a focus on ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reporting.

You must be a quick professional with great time-management and multitasking abilities. The goal is to develop and implement and maintain the systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying and reporting the financial information of all day-to-day company activities.

Responsibilities:

Prepare the balance sheet, account reconciliation, intercompany invoices and cash flow forecast.
Liaise with banks and PSPs to manage the relationships.
Maintain electronic and paper accounting records ensuring information is organized and easily accessible for the management.
Manage quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit.
Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA preferred.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role.
Professional English written and verbal communication skills.
Understanding and knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
Integrity and professionalism.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Excellent knowledge and experience with accounting software and databases.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
