Urgent Accountant Required in Dubai
Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, schedules and other reports.
Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.
Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Secure financial information by completing data base backups.
Maintain financial security by following internal controls.
Report and discuss to management the company’s performance and areas for opportunities.
Comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
Daily position reconciliation between trading and accounting systems, as well as broker and account mapping.
Protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Perform adhoc tasks and project work as needed.
Desired skills and experience
Successful experience of 3-5 years as an accountant (Preferably CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, CIMA or equivalent)
Exposure and experience in financial services, products and markets
Experience with Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
Ability to comfortably work on multiple concurrent transactions and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
Excellent organizational, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
Ability to learn quickly and demonstrate ability to work independently and as part of a high-performance team.
Independent, detail-oriented, analytical and problem solver
Flexibility and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and constant interruptions
Ability to adjust priorities in a rapidly changing environment.
