System Administrator Required in Dubai

We have an exciting opportunity for a System Administrator to join our team.

This is an entry level position and all you need in order to apply is a Bachelor's Degree in IT, Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering or MIS related field. Please not you MUST BE AN EMIRATI NATIONAL to be eligible for this role.

In this role, you will undertake a wide variety of activities within the Infrastructure support team.

They support on-going operations and maintenance of Emirates Air Defense Ground Environment – Transformation (EADGE-T) Information Technology (IT) equipment and software, set up administrator and service accounts, perform system tuning, perform diagnostics, update installations, perform backups, and maintain system configuration/installation documentation:

Systems IT Design
Baseline Control
System Integration & Interfaces
Systems Test

You must have a keen interest in how things work and be motivated by creating system solutions for challenging problems. With a logical and careful approach to analysing requirements, creating appropriate designs and developing implementation solutions, as well as an understanding of the role of test in ensuring delivery of mature products.

Responsibilities:

Manage User accounts and Access to the EADGE-T, and Development computer systems
Maintain and Install system updates and builds
Maintain and update automated system maintenance processes
Maintain and repair system software items (databases, installations, COTS products)
Troubleshoot and repair user issues with the system

Required skills, qualifications and experience:

Bachelors degree (BS/BA) in IT, Information Security, Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering or MIS related field.
EMIRATI NATIONAL
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to prioritise tasks and manage own time to meet program needs
Problem determination & resolution
Good IT skills in a range of SW packages would be an advantage

Experience with the following:

Red Hat Systems Administration
Windows Systems Administration
Virtualization Systems Administration
VMware ESXi & vSphere
Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI)
Storage (NAS, SAN or similar)
