Cyber Security Engineer Required in Dubai

We are looking for a cyber security expert who can assist, troubleshoot and support solutions and infrastructure for the company’s products to ensure they adhere to security standards and protocols. You will be encouraged to

conduct your own incident mitigation and create rule logic filters to fill, identify and mitigate DDOS attacks or

alert any upcoming threats you think may be targeted to the customer. The work you'll do is vital, as it ensures

protection of our customer’s assets.

Essential Job Functions

• Actively look for security vulnerabilities in our application and network, reporting issues and describing

possible solutions.

• Actively liaise with the development team to ensure a secure architecture and automated testing of all

source code (e.g., via Test-Driven Development).

• Provide regular reports auditing our current services and latest changes, as well as our internal

practices.

Education & Skills Requirements

• Degree in Information Security / Information technology-related field, or equivalent work- or education-related experience

• Up-to-date knowledge of methodologies and trends in both business and IT

• Prior experience in Pentesting is a must.

• Minimum of five to ten years of experience in a combination of risk management, information

security and IT (at least five must be in a senior leadership role).

• Strong knowledge and understanding of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, such as: NESA, ISO

27001/27002 / ISA, NIST, CoBIT.

• Excellent technical knowledge.

• Experience in implementing Information Security projects enforcing: DLP, SIEM, PAM, VAPT, etc.

• Professional security management certification is desirable, such as Certified Information Systems

Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and Certified Information

Systems Auditor (CISA), Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) or other similar credentials.

Desirable Attributes

• 0-2 years of experience in a similar role

• Information security experience in a Banking Sector will be an added advantage
