Senior Accountant Required in Dubai

We’re looking for a Senior Accountant to work with our team and provide the accounting assistance needed to run operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day activities of the finance and accounts department and ensure on-time and accurate financial transactions through the proper financial process, policies, and documentation.
Prepare and submit monthly P&L, balance sheet, AR, AP, and other reports related to finance and accounts to senior management.
End of month closing and booking of depreciation, prepaid expenses, and provisions.
Preparing timely monthly consolidated financial statements, payments, banks, and cash-flow management.
Managing tax provision and the tax compliance process.
Preparing all tax reports on a regular basis for the Federal Tax Authority whenever it is needed.
Managing collections and payments and handling receivables and payables.
Applying generally accepted accounting principles in preparing and analyzing financial information and in the preparation of financial reports.
Book keeping within the accounting software and closing the books in accounting software on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
Ensuring and coordinating the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures.

Location & Commitment

Majarra office in Abu Dhabi. The role is full-time.

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required.
Minimum 5 years of UAE accounting work experience.
Excellent knowledge of working with QuickBooks.
Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is an added benefit.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a team.
Excellent Proficiency in English.
