About The Job
Our client who is in beauty services is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team in Dubai
Job responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department such as accounts payable/receivable and bank operations, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliation and trust account statement reconciliations.
Raising Sales Invoices and Booking of Purchase Invoice with correct VAT Codes.
Booking of incoming payments from accounts receivable and outgoing payments from accounts payable.
Posting all month end and year end journals
Bank Reconciliations to ascertain the differences between the bank balance shown in an organization's bank statement, as supplied by the bank and the corresponding amount shown in the organization's own accounting records.
Processing of expenses submitted by employees.
Processing and Posting of Payroll for all employees.
Preparation of companys financial statements and other financial reports as required.
Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
Ensure that the record-keeping meets IFRS regulations and FTA guidelines.
Filing quarterly VAT Return with FTA
Timely delivery of ad hoc analysis to meet stakeholder requests.
Minimum Criteria
5-7 years of Accounts management experience within the UAE in Accounting firm
Experience in SAGE 300
Additional accounting qualification
Solid understanding of financial statistics
Skills
Ability to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
