Senior Accountant Required in Dubai -

The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.
Responsibilities
Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
Handle customer grievances and inquiries with the utmost empathy and exceptional customer service
Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
Produces payroll by initiating computer processing; printing checks, and verifying finished products.
Assist with external audits by providing information for auditors.
Research and analyze expense variances for company management
Summarize and prepare financial status and transactions reports, including a profit and loss statement, and other necessary reports
Comply with all local and international protocols including legal requirements
Create a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) manual for accounting policy and regulations, and roll out reconciliation procedures
Guide and support junior accountants and other department staff
Focus on tax compliance
Secures financial information by completing database backups.
Protects the organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
Qualifications
2+ years' of professional accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience
Demonstrated ability to work in a leadership role with excellent customer service skills
Thorough understanding of financial application security ensuring that all financial data is secure and complies with confidentiality policies
Required knowledge of different financial payment systems /platforms
Must be an outstanding communicator, and have established skills in accuracy, organization, and working in a high-volume environment
Demonstrated ability to support all other departments within the company and coordinate training
