Accountant Required in Dubai
Prepare, perform and maintain daily/monthly accounting entries in Microsoft Dynamics
Verify and ensure completeness and accuracy of transaction posted in Microsoft Dynamics for all modules by accounting team
Maintain all supporting documentation for accounting entries in line with Management and audit requirements
Perform subledger to ledger reconciliation on a daily/monthly basis, identify and resolve any variances for all modules
Perform month-end closing activities in Microsoft Dynamics, verify and consolidate reports for month end closing package
Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements
Liaise with various departments to receive understanding and clarification on nature of expenses incurred, make recommendation for their accounting treatment
Maintain monthly schedules of all income statement and statement of financial position ledgers
Perform revenue calculations, reconcile and post in Microsoft Dynamics
Review production reports submitted by Client Mining, Processing, Engineering and Maintenance, and Export departments and recording in Microsoft Dynamics
Control of physicals submitted by Client Mining, Processing, Engineering and Maintenance, and Export departments uploaded in Microsoft Dynamics and data warehouse
Preparation of monthly and annual Client production balances in - Microsoft Dynamics and excel in accordance with Client production department’s reporting
Familiarize with local tax laws and ensure appropriate accounting entries with withholding tax, payroll taxes and corporate taxes
Perform intercompany monthly reconciliation and make respective accounting entries
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
Preparation of monthly/quarterly and annual reporting and presentations
Ad-hoc tasks as required by Management.
Required Skills
Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Certification as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CA are an advantage.
5 years’ relevant experience (essential).
Excellent knowledge of accounting principles.
Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficient in MS office suite and advance knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics.
Business travel to Sierra Leone as assigned by the Line Manager will be mandatory in line with operational and business requirements.
