Senior Accountant Required in Dubai - Dubai

Job Summary: The Senior Accountant will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of the company. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records, preparing financial statements, and implementing effective internal controls. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS.
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
Manage and reconcile balance sheets, profit/loss statements, and other financial reports.
Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
Coordinate audits and provide necessary documentation and support.
Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
Provide financial analysis and support for decision-making.
Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and financial reporting.
Proficiency in accounting software e.g. SAP and MS Office Suite.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
