Senior Accountant Required in Dubai
We are currently Seeking an Senior Accountant with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Chemical Raw Material Trading/Manufacturing who can start immediately. Responsibilities include managing shareholders' and investors' accounts, coordinating payments with banks and vendors, reconciling accounts, preparing financial documents, and assisting with month-end closing processes.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and update shareholders' current and long-term loan accounts, as well as other investors' records.
Distribute quarterly statements to shareholders and investors by the 15th of the following month.
Manage records of employee loans, advances, and visa-related expenses.
Review and approve journal entries and payment vouchers.
Prepare employees' gratuity payments.
Coordinate with banks as necessary and execute inter-company fund transfers.
Plan and execute payments to goods and service vendors based on aging and advance requirements, collaborating with the procurement department.
Review monthly reconciliations and submit them for financial manager review.
Manage daily transactions and activities with assigned banks.
Reconcile petty cash and handle fund reimbursements.
Facilitate fund movements in non-operative bank accounts across the organization.
Ensure timely payment of utility bills through online transactions and transfers.
Prepare prepaid schedules, provisions, and postings in the accounting system.
Maintain fixed assets register and book monthly depreciation.
Assist financial manager during month-end closing processes.
Undertake any other tasks assigned by the finance manager and senior executives.
Handle interactions with banks regarding loans drawn for supplier payments.
Prepare LC documents and import documents, submitting them to banks as required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
At least 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on trading and manufacturing.
Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software preferred MS Dynamics and should have excellent Excel skills.
Experience with bank interactions and fund transfers is highly desirable.
