Security Architect Required in Dubai
We are looking to hire a Security Architect who will be responsible developing and implementing IT Security programs in a fast-moving environment, for our Client based in Dubai- which is one of the largest semi-government companies in the region.
This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 3 months and is renewable.
Role overview:
This role will utilize a combination of business process analysis, technical process analysis and technical expertise to develop enterprise architectural security deliverables.
The candidate will work closely with Enterprise Architect and other development teams in order to ensure designs meet security standards as well as liaise with other stakeholders in security and IT to ensure the best solutions to be provided. The candidate will also support compliance audits with SDL information and program documentation.
This is a challenging position working in a very fast-paced environment, with the opportunity to work collaboratively with professionals and the ability to support large organization transformation.
Key responsibilities:
Serve as the central point of contact for Enterprise Security for other Technology teams within the organization.
Partner with Enterprise Architecture to define security requirements included in architecture patterns
Design and develop security architectures for Cloud and on-premise systems.
Performed Security Assessments for critical projects
Design and implement security architectures that will allow business requirements to be met with a minimal degree of risk to the organization
Works with Engineering, infrastructure services, and application development organizations to choose appropriate technology solutions
Leads initiatives designed to share knowledge across Security Platforms and Technology teams
Identifies, recommends, coordinates, and delivers timely knowledge to support teams regarding technologies, processes or tools.
Knowledge, skills & experience:
Higher Education in Engineering or Computer Science
Minimum 2+ years of experience in reviewing security architecture and design
Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Information Security domain
Experience developing, automating, managing or driving security-related requirements or measurements for an enterprise-level organization
Experience in all aspects of a Secure Development Lifecycle including code review, detecting and mitigating common weaknesses, vulnerability scanning, threat modelling, and architectural review.
Expertise across various security disciplines such as Information security, vulnerability assessments, threat analysis, incident response, threat modelling, security intelligence and forensic investigations
Strong working knowledge of enterprise software technologies, application security, and infrastructure.
Security-related qualifications (CISSP, CCSP, CISA, ISO27001)
TOGAF or SABSA Certifications will be an advantage.
Experience in supporting Cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, Google).
Demonstrated ability to have led and completed multiple complex projects.
Highly seasoned in organizational, time management, decision making and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Availability:
Preference will be given to candidates available immediately or maximum 30 days after accepting the offer.
