Sales Representative - Team Leader Required in Dubai

We need a qualified team leader to lead our team and provide effective guidance.

On a daily basis, you will supervise, manage, and motivate team members. Because you will be the point of contact for all team members as a team leader, you must have excellent communication skills. You should also be able to take proactive steps to ensure that team operations run smoothly and effectively. Finally, you should lead by example and work with your team to achieve your objectives.

Contract Type

6-month temporary contract (to be changed to a 1-year contract based on the performance evaluation).

Duties and responsibilities

Responsibility to staff and direct the section team :

Responsibility for the day to day activities of the team
Listen to sales team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts
Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments
Encourage creativity and risk-taking
Suggest and organize team-building activities
Meet your targets and those of the team as a whole
Assist in the smooth running of the team
Contribute to training and development of the team
Achieve maximum profitability and growth in accordance with organization plans

Day to day responsibilities as agreed with your Direct Manager to include:

Assist your Direct Manager in the recruitment of team members, subject to agreed criteria
Assist your Direct Manager in training and appraising individual team members to ensure targets are met
Performance and development of team members and report on metrics
Reporting (content and format as agreed) on a monthly basis to your Direct Manager
Assist your Direct Manager in developing plans for team sales activities to include sales strategy to achieve agreed targets, an effective search of leads/prospects, penetrating new markets
Prepare and agree on individual action plans and targets for all team members
Assist in the development and preparation of the organization’s sales strategy and general business planning
Prepare and agree on presentations, proposals, and price lists to enable the team to deliver accurate and competitive information while maintaining maximum profit margin and assist team members in preparing and delivering client/customer presentations, proposals, and price-lists
Delegate authority and responsibility to team with supervision, accountability, and review
Assist your Direct Manager in maintaining contact with client/customers for feedback and in obtaining client/customer satisfaction
Set an example for team members of commitment, sales activities, work ethics and habits, and personal character
Maintain accurate records of leads/prospects, pricing, sales, and activities
Control expenses to meet agreed on budgetary controls
Adhere to all organization policies and procedures
Interact and co-operate with all members of the organization and its suppliers and clients/customers

From time to time, you may be expected to be part of special projects as are reasonably required of your job role.

You are responsible for your allocated workload and must meet all targets as agreed with your Line Manager. You must contribute towards the smooth running of the organization generally.

Present, promote, and sell our service and features using solid arguments to existing and prospective customers.
Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs.
Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information (on signing vendors, pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques).
Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Reach out to customer leads through cold calling.
Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
Analyze the market potential, track sales, and status reports

Working Hours

Your usual hours will be from 9am to 6pm. However you will be expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and your targets. Your job will be a mixture of travel and office based.

Qualifications / Essential Abilities/ Competencies

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, healthcare, or related field.
Degree in Management or training in team leading is a plus
Proven work experience of a minimum of two years experience in this type of job role.
Healthcare industry background is an added advantage.
Good understanding of client/customer and market requirements and dynamics
In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
Using CRM and sales performance software
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Decision-making skills
Proven track record of successfully managing customer relationships and a commitment to excellent customer service.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work under pressure
Project management skills
Full driving license
Fluency in English, both verbal and written.

Fluency in Arabic/Hindi is an added advantage.
