We have an excellent opportunity to work with a client in the luxury architectural design and fit-outs sector as a Sales and Business Development Executive. Experience working with luxury brands, creatives and within multi-cultural environments would be an advantage.
This is an opportunity to achieve the satisfaction of selling luxury design, furniture, accessories, fitout and supervision services to high end and discerning clientele in residential and commercial settings internationally.
A proven track record in luxury and design sales is a must, and equally important is the ability to be a proactive and team player, who can take responsibility for negotiating and closing a pipeline of leads. Commercial experience of luxury interior design sales in the travel, hospitality, retail and brand sectors would be advantageous.

Role Description:
The Sales and Business Development Executive has responsibility for identifying and closing leads through prospect qualification, nurturing and negotiation of contracts in line with business targets.
It is critical for this role that the role holder has strong experience in luxury interior design and furniture, accessories and artworks as we seek to develop this aspect of the EVA Portfolio.
Commercial sales experience for interiors would also be a strong benefit, particularly in the travel, hospitality, retail and brand sectors.
The role holder will be responsible for working with the marketing and management team on ideating, planning, implementing and monitoring sales and service development programs, targeted towards developing the existing client base and demographic and opening new markets and opportunities by performing the duties listed in this role description:
Success will be measured by key result areas and KPIs noted below:
Total Quarterly and Annual Sales Revenue.
Total Quarterly and Annual Profit to ensure quality business is signed.
Achievement of a consistent pipeline of qualified leads to deliver revenue to the business.
Conversion of 25% of leads to qualified prospects subject to meeting client criteria.
Conversion of leads to contract to be completed in an average of no more than 45 days from prospect identification.
NPS and Client Satisfaction Score.
Sales and Business Development Executive (FF&E Lead) Responsibilities:
Develops and implements strategic sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for the EVA portfolio – currently Design, FF&E, Gypsum and Design Supervision services in residential and commercial.
Input to sales and marketing planning and strategy on product and service positioning, development of sales collateral, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long-term market share in relation to standards and industry and economic trends. This includes monitoring the industry for competitor updates to inform the strategy.
Achieve satisfactory profitability on contracts signed, by negotiating within agreed mandates set by finance and senior management team.
Responsible for developing a networking strategy to establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers, design associations and bodies, and key strategic partners.
Ensure preparation of effective sales activity reports, including presentation to executive management to board level for reviews and approvals.
To self-direct own sales forecasting activities for owned leads and set own performance goals accordingly.
Effective prospect management, to include due diligence and qualification of potential clients in initial engagement.
Responsible for managing the prospect from lead to contract closure, for both residential (B2C) and commercial (B2C) B2B contracts.
Maintain accurate records on Sales Force or other determined sales management system as directed to enable accurate business forecasting and planning.
Manage client meetings, quotation to client and negotiation, including revisions and change control with client, ensuring effective contract review and sign-off before presenting for client agreement.
Responsible for handing over new client contracts to a Relationship Manager under GM supervision, through a documented project kick-off meeting co-ordinated and recorded by the Document Controller.
Proactively reviews and analyse own sales performances against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness, and identify areas for improvement.
Ensure sales processes and procedures are followed, with 100% adherence to recording and documentation requirements evidenced by internal audit scrutiny, identifying any opportunities for Business Improvement to the Quarterly Business Improvement Forum.
The role holder will comply with all documented EVA policies, such as attendance, time recording, health and safety and other policies that may be documented in the company handbook and internal drives or intranet, and will at all times maintain conduct at the highest level to maintain the brand and reputation of EVA.

Expected core outputs:
• Achieve given sales target through qualifying leads, nurturing prospects and converting to clients.
• Weekly reporting of targets through WIG meeting on rotation.
• Ensure client satisfaction by ensuring effective initial engagement and quotation, requirements capture and handover and delivery of quality service to meet client expectations, through regular client management and communication.
• Ensure smooth internal communication by using proper information flow, systems and processes as directed.
Identify innovative techniques for signing more projects with better profitability and contribute to continuous business improvement.
Requirements:
3-5 years UAE or international experience working as Business Development or Sales Executive with any leading interior design studio or fitout company is essential, and references will be requested.
You should be an Interior Designer or Architect by educational background.
Excellent attitude, drive and passion for the luxury interiors industry and intention of growing with the company to be successful personally and professionally.
We require you should be flexible in traveling for client meetings. Some international travel may be required.
You should be self-motivated and able to perform to a high standard against targets, with creative and innovative approaches, with good commercial awareness and ability to identify opportunities and potential clients and collaborations.
Customer Service and leadership skills are essential.
The role involves a high level of client interaction and so Arabic speaking is required to a good conversational standard.
