Job Details
An International Firm of Consulting Engineers urgently requires: Resident Engineer-Civil - 12 years minimum practical experience in HV Substation Project. Specific Requirements for HV Substation Project: Construction Works of Industrial Buildings (preferably Substations). Supervision of Construction Works as Consultant with international Contractors. Supervision of soil investigations, Sub- and Superstructure concrete works related to Industrial buildings, Piling works and pile tests. Water Protection (Tanking) Systems and Applications. Finishing works. Testing of Civil materials in Laboratories. Conducting site and progress meetings. Controlling & certification of civil works progress. Close coordination with all other disciplines of the project. Fluency in English - written and spoken, and computer literacy (MS Office package). Excellent correspondence skills in contractual & technical matters. Capable of controlling the project independently. Liaison with the client´s specialised engineers. Experience in site supervision with international consultant contractors is essentially required. Preferably work experience in the UAE. A valid UAE driving license.
