Job Details
An International Firm of Consulting Engineers urgently requires: Resident Engineer-Civil - 12 years minimum practical experience in Overhead Transmission Line Project. Specific Requirements for Overhead Transmission Line Project: Should have profound Theoretical & Practical Knowledge and experience in: Construction Works of Overhead Transmission Lines (preferably EHV & HV-OHL). Supervision of soil investigations. Piling works in different soil conditions and Pile Tests. Corrosion Protection and Painting Requirements, Procedures and Applications. Testing of Civil materials in Laboratories. Preparation of Platforms and Access Roads. Route survey. Conducting site and progress meetings. Controlling & certification of civil works progress. Close coordination with all other disciplines of the project. Fluency in English - written and spoken, and computer literacy (MS Office package). Excellent correspondence skills in contractual & technical matters. Capable of controlling the project independently. Liaison with the client´s specialised engineers. Experience in site supervision with international consultant contractors is essentially required. Preferably work experience in the UAE. A valid UAE driving license.
