Network & Security Officer Required in Dubai

The Network & Security Officer is responsible for executing all necessary tasks to support the day-to-day operations of data security. This includes providing support and maintenance for a comprehensive suite of information security infrastructure. The role is accountable for ensuring the availability and integrity of security and networking infrastructure components. Additionally, they monitor compliance with IT security policies and coordinate the investigation and reporting of security incidents.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor information systems for security incidents and vulnerabilities, improve monitoring and visibility capabilities, and provide reports on incidents, vulnerabilities, and trends.

• Design, implement, maintain, and operate information system security controls and counter measures.

• Analyze and recommend security controls and procedures during the acquisition, development, and change management lifecycle of information systems, and ensure compliance monitoring.

• Analyze and recommend security controls and procedures for business processes involving the use of information systems and assets and ensure compliance monitoring.

• Respond to information system security incidents, including investigating, implementing countermeasures for, and recovering from computer-based attacks, unauthorized access, and policy breaches. Coordinate and collaborate with third-party incident responders, including law enforcement.

• Administer authentication and access controls, including provisioning, changes, and deprovisioning of user and system accounts, security/access roles, and access permissions to information.

• Analyze and implement information security governance, including organizational policies, procedures, standards, baselines, and guidelines related to information security, the use, and operation of information systems.

• Analyze and review security devices' operating systems and perform periodic upgrades to address bug fixes and vulnerabilities.

• Investigate intrusion and hacking incidents, collect incident responses, and conduct thorough investigations.

• Conduct security reviews on newly launched applications according to IT requirements.

• Administer or coordinate with vendors for the deployment of new security applications within AECB's IT infrastructure.

Education & Skills

1. Educated with at least bachelor’s degree

2. Education specialization or master’s degree in Information Technology preferred

3. Preferred CISSP

Experience & Knowledge

1. Minimum experience of 4 years in information Security infrastructure.

2. Working knowledge of web application firewalls, load balancers and proxies.

3. Experience with security scanning tools, DLP, IPS, SIEM and Privilege Access Management.

4. Experience in Cisco Platforms, Fortigate Firewalls, VMWARE NSX, Symantec End Point and

Web Secure Proxy.
