Mixologist Required in Dubai

We are looking for a Mixologist who thrives in a high pressure and outgoing personality with ability to communicate fluently in English with guests and colleagues. The candidate should have an experience in similar position for at least 2 years. It is preferable that the candidate has received training in beverage service/techniques; liquor, wines, mixes/cocktails; Customer Service; and up selling. To deliver a great guest experience – a Mixologist will prepare beverage in a timely manner, helping guests to have memorable experience. Your main duties will include:

• Delight the guest by offering trend setting and innovative products and services,

• contribute to sales activities and assist in maximizing revenue

• Prepare store requisitions and bar requisitions

• Handle guest complaints directly or refer them to the Bar Manager

• Extend prompt services and treat guests and colleagues in a courteous manner.

• Prepare beverages requested by guests using established pouring standards and drink

recipes to provide a consistent product to the guests and to control costs. Coordinate food service with restaurant(s) for bar/lounge guests if applicable

• Set up station including all liquor, mixers, ice, garnishes, glassware and supplies. Perform pre- and post-shift work (empty/fill ice-bins, prepare garnishments, replenish/store snacks, etc.)

• Requisition all necessary supplies in line with hotel procedures and manage liquor inventory

• Ensure that all beverages are properly secured before, during, and at close of shift

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirements

• A diploma / degree in hospitality or a vocational training in food & beverage

• Minimum of two years’ experience in Bar Operations

• Excellent command of English and additional skills, like guest service and interpersonal are essentials

• Flamboyant and bar tending skills coupled with thorough knowledge about all types of wines, liquor and cocktails are an advantage
