Review of the final issue of PID’s from point of view of commissioning and start-up, issuing of PID’s modification according with project standards and regulations,
Preparation of scope and the responsibilities for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, pre-commissioning & commissioning plan ,
To define the organisation chart and necessary resources for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
Identification of systems and sub-systems by marking up of PFD’s and PID’s – system definition,
To assist construction departments by defining of priority systems according with overall construction and pre-commissioning & commissioning planning and schedule.
Participate in constructable analyse in order to meet project schedule,
Preparation of operating manuals in cooperation with the Process Department, Process Licensors and Vendors,
Preparation of pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up execution plan; development of planning and scheduling of pre-commissioning and commissioning plan for entire projects and integration with Client planning for commissioning and start-up,
Preparation of pre-commissioning & commissioning manuals,
Development of pre-commissioning & commissioning procedures (air blowing, chemical cleaning, water flushing philosophies, E&I test and functional test, refractory drying, catalyst and adsorbents loading, steam blowing, etc.)
Development of scope of work for chemical cleaning of special equipments such as steam boilers, well control panel’s, amine systems, compressors suction lines, etc.. Technical evaluation of sub-contractors bids for work packs,
Development of safety procedures to be used during pre-commissioning & commissioning activities such as tagging, vessels entry for inspections, isolation & blind installation procedures and work permit procedures in collaboration with HSE department,
Preparation of commissioning and operational test procedures for packages unit, specific utility or process systems in collaboration with licensors, vendors and engineering department,
Preparation of performance test procedures in collaboration with licensors and engineering department,
Development of punch list procedure and exception list for handover,
Development, review of pre-commissioning scenarios and material list for pre-commissioning and commissioning such as sacrificial valves, quick opening valves, temporary spools, temporary silencers, temporary strainers, etc.,
Development and review with vendors of lube oil and seal gas systems flushing/cleaning procedures for compressors, gas turbines, steam turbines, etc.,
Preparation of the Client personnel training execution plan defining the following steps basic training, industrial training, specific industrial training, training during commissioning and start-up wit external assistance for package equipments and licensed process units.
Instrument loop checking, function test of heaters, compressors.
