Our Culinary team is expanding and looking for knowledgeable, passionate, energetic, and creative talents join our team.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist Chef de cuisine/Sous Chef in planning festive decoration and set up in conjunction with the Executive Pastry Chef
Prepare & decorate desserts
Design and implement Cake Displays
To be responsible for creating Seasonal Showpieces for Buffet & lobby pastry shop decoration
Ensure that cakes are baked at the proper temperatures and make certain that kitchen and baking equipment adheres to sanitation regulations
Experiment with various cake flavors and icings to produce cakes and desserts that are visually appetizing
Check food ingredients for freshness, quality, and availability
Conjunction with the chef de cuisine/Sous Chef establish job methods and supervise on a regular basis and correct, if necessary
Liaise with the Chief steward in order to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained in all areas of kitchen
Assist Chef de cuisine/Sous chef in the supervision of all colleagues engaged in the kitchen
We are looking exactly for you:
Applicants must have at least 4 - 5 years in a 5* international chain in Europe & Asia
Diploma in Catering & Health and safety certificate
Completed kitchen apprentice or chef’s training for at least one year
Good knowledge and understanding of high-volume kitchen operation
Be a good team player
Good English communication skills
Ability to create chocolate & Styrofoam decoration, and establish chocolate standards
Be familiar with the use of commercial mixing machines, ovens, and other large-scale baking equipment
Ability to work with creativity, passion and drive
Hight level of time management and attention to details
