Junior Graphic Designer Required in Dubai - Dubai

We are looking for a passionate and creative Junior Graphic Designer to support our Branding Team in various tasks, ensuring the seamless execution of our projects and maintaining the high standards we are known for.

The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in graphic design principles, proficiency in contemporary design software, and a keen eye for detail. They should be eager to learn, able to take direction well, and possess excellent communication skills. A collaborative spirit and a passion for design are essential to thrive in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Identity Design
• Support the Branding Team with project reviews and feedback sessions, ensuring all deliverables align with the client's vision and standards.
• Conduct research to support the Branding Team during the initial stages of projects, gathering inspiration and relevant materials.
• Conduct visual research to explore new forms, materials, and techniques that can enhance the design process.
Concept Development team support
• Develop templates for branding documents to streamline processes and ensure consistency across all projects.
• Support the Concept Development team with enhancing the concept documents with branding elements.
• Assist in developing and organizing the branding database, ensuring all design assets are systematically stored and easily accessible.
• Maintain and organize the branding cabinet, keeping track of inventory and ensuring materials are readily available.
Collateral design support
• Support in drafting brandbook briefs for third party as needed, ensuring clear and concise documentation.
• Review brandbook documents for feedback, under the supervision of the Lead Graphic Designer, ensuring all guidelines and standards are met.
• Assist in the creation and preparation of printing materials, ensuring high-quality outputs.
• Participate in supplier meetings alongside the Branding Team to support with review of print work, providing feedback on samples and materials, and ensuring quality and consistency.
• Work on creating and refining menu design layouts, ensuring they align with the brand's visual identity and client expectations.
Internal branding
• Driving the branding of Forsite Creative internally by leading the website design, social media (including content development) as well as bulletin boards, updating company collaterals, such as business cards, calling cards and company profile.
Culture
• Provide fresh ideas and perspectives during brainstorming sessions, contributing to the creative development of projects.
• Help foster a creative and enriching culture within the team by suggesting materials to read/watch/listen to, events to attend, or internal gatherings to plan.
• Build enthusiasm and excitement for working together, and lead by example through equal parts professionalism and warm interpersonal dynamics
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design or equivalent is a plus
• Minimum 0-1 years of design experience at a branding firm or creative agency
• Prior experience in branding and graphic design, including: visual identities, print collateral, and digital design
• A portfolio showcasing relevant logos, branding, illustrations, or other graphics (academic or freelance work accepted)
• As an addition experience in hospitality and restaurant branding is a plus
• Basic understanding of both print and digital production
• Willingness to learn and collaborate with strategists and other creatives
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – mainly Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
• Proficiency in Keynote is a plus, not a must
• A solution oriented, collaborative, proactive individual with strong communication skills.
• A flexible and resilient approach with the ability to work under pressure and in a fast paced and demanding environment.
• An eye for detail and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Professionalism in all communications and exchanges
• Arabic is a plus, not a must
