IT Support Engineer Required in Dubai - Dubai

Job Title: IT Support Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
End-User Support:

Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person.
Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.
Assist users with IT-related problems, inquiries, and requests.
Hardware and Software Maintenance:

Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
Perform software installations, updates, and patches.
Conduct regular system and software audits to ensure compliance and optimal performance.
Network Support:

Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of local area networks (LAN) and wireless networks.
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
Collaborate with network administrators to ensure smooth data and voice communication.
Security:

Implement and enforce security measures to protect systems and data.
Educate end-users on security best practices.
Assist in the monitoring and resolution of security incidents.
Documentation:

Create and update documentation for IT processes, procedures, and configurations.
Maintain an accurate inventory of hardware, software, and licenses.
Collaboration:

Collaborate with other IT team members to address complex issues and projects.
Work closely with other departments to understand their IT needs and provide effective solutions.
Continuous Improvement:

Stay current with industry trends and technologies.
Propose and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of IT support services.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience in providing IT support and troubleshooting.
Strong knowledge of desktop operating systems, hardware, and commonly used software applications.
Familiarity with networking concepts and protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
