IT Security Engineer Required in Dubai - Dubai

Key Responsibilities:

Security Operations:

Monitor and respond to security incidents and alerts.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
Implement and manage security tools (e.g., firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS, SIEM).
Investigate security breaches and perform forensic analysis.
Risk Management:

Identify and assess potential security risks and vulnerabilities.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Policy and Procedure Development:

Develop, review, and enforce security policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Conduct security awareness training for employees
Network and System Security:

Design and implement secure network architectures.
Manage and secure cloud infrastructure and services.
Ensure the secure configuration of hardware and software.
Collaboration and Communication:

Work closely with IT and other departments to ensure security measures are integrated into overall IT infrastructure.
Communicate security risks and issues to management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:

• Education:

o Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience:

3+ years of experience in IT security or a related field.
Proven experience with security operations, risk management, and incident response.
Certifications:

o Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or similar are highly desirable.
Technical Skills:

o Proficiency with security technologies and tools (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, encryption).
o Strong understanding of network protocols, systems architecture, and security architecture.
o Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plus.
Soft Skills:

o Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
o Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
