The Opportunity
IHS Towers is expanding our global footprint and we are seeking an individual to join our IT Sourcing & Procurement team in Dubai. The individual will be responsible for leading, coordinating & delivering activities in IT sourcing strategies planning & execution, bidding events, negotiating & managing contracts. They are also responsible for supplier relationship management and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of IT category plans and sourcing activities
Conduct bidding events (RFI/ RFQ/ RFP), competitive analysis, and negotiations with the suppliers
Negotiate IT hardware, services and software agreements including complex licensing agreements
Perform benchmark analysis on all renewals and new purchases within Group IT.
Due diligence of requirements and qualitative investigation of options for fulfilling the requirements including potential sources of supply
Leverage technology/ product knowledge & supply markets intelligence
Lead procurement projects independently and deliver pre-defined outcomes
Effectively monitoring & managing contracts life cycle including review of contractual compliance of the suppliers
Develop and drive supplier scorecards to monitor supplier performance on ongoing basis and implement improvements to achieve desired business outcomes
Continuously look for innovative commercial models and new technologies that result in cost optimization & efficiency
Track and report key functional metrics for Procurement & Supply Chain
Collaborate effectively with cross functional teams and establish strong partnership with stakeholders
Ensure that all procurement activity is carried out in line with Group Procurement & Supply Chain governance principles.
Key Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain/or related discipline.
Advanced Specialist Master’s, MBA and/ or relevant professional certifications, e.g., Certified Purchaser (CIPS) will be an asset.
6+ years relevant experience in IT Procurement including managing sourcing projects, negotiations, contract management, supplier management and RFx process.
