HR Manager Required in Dubai
We are looking to hire an HR Manager who will be overseeing employee relations, operations, and policy function that serves as the primary human capital advisory channel for all business units with respect to employee-related matters and implementation of policies for our client in Dubai – one of the largest companies in the region.
This position is a long-term contract role with an initial duration of 6 months and is renewable based on performance.
Key responsibilities:
Driving employee engagement and execution of engagement plans for the company through carrying out organization-wide initiatives.
Designing and implementing company policies that promote a healthy work environment and sustain employee engagement to retain valuable talents, increase their productivity and enhance the overall company culture.
Regularly reviewing and revising policies to align with the UAE Labour Law.
Labor regulations Subject Matter Expert, ensuring internal stakeholders are provided with guidance and support.
Setting objectives for the HR team and tracking progress.
Ensuring full compliance with General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) .
Handling visa-related processes.
Developing proposals for promotions, assessing employees’ eligibility for salary increments, recommending grade changes.
Coaching and counseling line managers in differentiating performance, addressing performance gaps and growing top talents.
Managing and conducting grievances and disciplinary issues.
Providing appropriate guidance to the line managers for efficient, fair, and satisfactory resolution in line with the HR policies.
Supporting HR via implementation of various strategies and providing creative and flexible HR solutions to promote business growth and to build a culture that achieves company’s vision.
Managing data entry activities into HRMS and ensuring that accountability hierarchy and organizational structures are up to date.
Knowledge, skills & experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or similar.
MSc degree in HR or relevant certification is a plus
Minimum 10 years of experience in Human Resources with proven experience in Employee Relations and Operations.
Proven work experience as a Senior HR Manager or similar.
Prior experience in being the first point of contact with the Legal Department and Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratization on various employee-related matters.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work in a diverse team.
Ability to foster healthy employee relations
Solid understanding and knowledge of UAE labor law.
Good leadership skills and ability to lead a team.
