One of our esteemed clients in the Oil and Gas industry is currently seeking a HR Advisor to be based in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Job Overview:
The HR Advisor in the oil and gas industry plays a critical role in providing HR support and expertise to employees and management in a highly specialized and safety-sensitive environment. This role involves overseeing HR processes, recruitment, employee relations, and compliance with industry-specific regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
Manage the recruitment process, from job posting to offer acceptance, ensuring the selection of qualified candidates with the necessary safety certifications.
Act as a point of contact for employee relations, addressing workplace issues, disputes, and concerns.
Promote a culture of safety, compliance, and ethical conduct in all HR interactions.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with industry-specific regulations.
Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws, safety standards, and industry-specific certifications.
Administer and manage employee benefits programs, such as health and safety protocols and safety training.
Assist employees with safety-related inquiries and safety process compliance.
Identify safety training needs and coordinate specialized safety training programs.
Support employees in obtaining and renewing industry-required safety certifications.
Assist in performance appraisal processes, with a particular focus on safety performance evaluations.
Monitor and ensure compliance with safety and performance goals.
Maintain HR records, including personnel files, safety certifications, and compliance documentation.
Prepare and analyze safety-related HR reports and data.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
5 - 10 years of experience in HR roles within the oil and gas industry.
Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on safety communication.
Proficiency in HR software and tools.
