Role Description This full-time Heavy Truck Driver role is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, in a hybrid arrangement that combines on-site driving duties with some work-from-home tasks such as documentation and scheduling. The Heavy Truck Driver will operate heavy trucks to transport goods safely and efficiently, following assigned routes and delivery schedules. Daily responsibilities include conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections, securing loads, loading and unloading as required, and maintaining accurate logs and delivery records. The role also involves adhering to all safety protocols, traffic laws, and relevant transportation regulations while coordinating with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to ensure punctual and professional service.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong truck operation and driving skills, including Truck Driving experience and proficiency with heavy Truck handling.
Candidates should possess a valid CDL Class A (or equivalent heavy vehicle license) and demonstrated experience with commercial freight transport.
Candidates should possess knowledge of DOT Regulations (or applicable regional transport regulations) and a strong focus on safety and compliance.
Candidates should possess practical skills in loading and Unloading cargo, including securing loads and handling materials safely.
Additional beneficial qualifications include a clean driving record, familiarity with route planning and GPS systems, basic vehicle maintenance knowledge, and the ability to complete paperwork accurately.
Strong communication skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team are essential.
