Head of IT Operations Required in Dubai - Dubai
We're working with one of the FIRST digital banks to be licensed in the UAE, providing both retail and corporate banking.
They are one of the most innovative and well-funded projects launched recently, providing a new way to bank and a chance to spearhead transformation across the UAE!
They are looking for a Head of Technology Infrastructure & Operations to join their team in Dubai - you would be responsible for overseeing the strategic planning, implementation, and management of technology infrastructure, operational and live service activities across all Service Entities delivering the banking portfolio and offerings.
Main responsibilities include
Develop and implement a comprehensive data analytics and AI strategy to support the organisation's business objectives
Lead and manage a team of data analysts and AI engineers
Collect and analyse data from various sources, including internal systems, third-party tools, and market research, to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
Build and deploy AI models to solve real-world business problems
Communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders across the organisation in a clear and concise manner
Stay up-to-date on the latest data analytics and AI trends and technologies
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that data analytics and AI are used effectively to support the organisation's overall goals

Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
15+ years of technology experience with out of which at least 5 years in similar position
Experience in working with an international; large corporate with multi country / multi branch set-up - with similar or larger customer end-user base.
Well versed in core infrastructure operations such as cloud, open-banking, networking, telecom, asset management, storage, mobile apps, web portals, APIs/integration, Business continuity/DR.
Experience in implementing / managing large hybrid operations across multi-cloud and multi-partner environments.
Demonstrated experience in budgeting, resource management, vendor and service management.
Good knowledge related to exponential technology capabilities (i.e. AI, Blockchain and IOT), hands-on experience and use-case driven experience is highly recommended.
Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
Solid understanding of technology frameworks and standards.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
