Having a great knowledge in casual dining restaurant menu. Should be able to design menu and create dishes of Breakfast and Alacarte menu. Should be able to propose seasonal menu. Great knowledge especially in continental and Mediterranean cuisine. Should be able to create recipe, specs and strong knowledge in cost and inventory
Ensure proper portion, arrangement, and food garnish to be served. Monitor the quantity of food that is prepared. Prepare special meals or substitute items. Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks. Monitor stock of kitchen supplies and food. Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program and food products. Ensure the quality of the food items and notify manager if a product does not meet specifications.
Assist management in training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, motivating and coaching kitchen employess
Salary: Negotiable. Depending on the level of experience & expertise.
