German Teacher Required in Dubai -
Lingua Learn requires a freelance German language teacher based in Dubai, UAE to teach adults ranging in levels from complete beginners to advanced (CEFR A1 to C1). Lessons may be delivered in English, so an excellent command of English is also required (B1 minimum).
The successful candidate must be educated to a degree level with an accredited teaching qualification and a minimum of 5 years of experience in teaching German as a foreign language. Furthermore, the candidate must be experienced in assessing students’ language proficiency in all 4 skills (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking), preferrably using CEFR Levels as reference.
The summary of requirements is as follows:
- German C2/C1 user
- Excellent command of English (B1 minimum)
- Teaching qualification
- Educated to a degree level
- Based in Dubai, UAE
- Able to teach face-to-face classes in Dubai, UAE
- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience
- Familiarity with using online teaching platforms (especially Zoom)
- Experience in assessing students in all 4 skills of proficiency
- Reliable internet connection
